Happy New Year everyone! It is now 2011 and we have almost two years until the end of the world . . . just kidding! It's amazing how the world changes around us. Before the holidays I blogged about the three snow days we had in a row. Miraculously, last week it got warmer and the snow melted so there's now only appoximately two or three inches on the ground as opposed to three or four feet, even five feet! And there's a flood in Australia. So, I think all those people who believe in the whole "the world is going to end in 2012!!!" thing do have some justification.
But thinking back, the world has changed so much in such a short period of time and I think the beginning of the new year is a great way to reflect upon the past, present and future. So for your new years resolution(s), how about considering learning from mistakes and making the world a better place for your future and the next generation's?
