Good News

I finally got my G1! I could've gotten it last year but I didn't feel the need to, so I went this morning! Hooray for procrastination!

I'd Like To Get More Sleep But My Mind Just Keeps Me Up

Exams and school is over so maybe I will be able to!

Oh my gosh I am such a bad spender! Actually, I spend my money well by buying lots of stuff on sale :) But still, spending money before university is BAAAAAAAAAD!!!! I bought this uber awesome dress at Aerie which I LOOOOVE and a necklace as a bday gift for my friend and The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien! My dad says he has it, which I believe since he has just about every other book by Tolien, but he never gets it out for me when I ask. SO I bought my own! It's tiny and has original cover art by Tolkien himself and even though I have one more exam left I've started to read it! GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

In other news, today I thought it was snowing, but then realized it was simply the white fluff that has been invading our air for the past month. Also it is June.

Good day people! Enjoy summer while it lasts!

Quote of the Day: In youth, you easily fall in love with words, written and spoken. You come, like other lovers, to feel an unreased sensuous thrill of joy at a word because it is just what it is - the sound of it and the look of it on the page - as a child's mind thrills at the touch of fur because it's sleek and that of a file because it is not. - C.E. Montagne "Words, Words, Words"

For all those who feel that they are being bullied or ostracized, it gets better. Pass it on.

Father's Day

Secondly, I have a short poem I would like to share. It was written about a chihuahua.

There once was a dog name Willy,
He was often very chilly.
His friends thought him very silly
That poor little dog Willy.

I am very obsessed with this new headscarf I bought at Aerie for $7.95 Thursday night. I've worn it for the past two days in two different styles: a head band and a turban. I love both styles. It was inspired by this website that I now love for DIYs!

Also, here are the pictures from the art show this past week!

The last two are my artwork that I included in the show.

I Wonder Why . . .

I wonder why he smiles. It's not that I don't like it, I rather do, it's just that I'm curious about WHY he smiles. What goes through his head as he parts his lips to reval his teeth? Is it an anecdote as he pushes back the corners of his mouth? Is it a joke as his eyes sparkle and laugh? I often wonder if it was something I did. Was it an action or a spoken word that prompted this smile? I do hope it was me. Even if it wasn't, I just want to enjoy that smile. If it is directed at me, that's great! I will still be curious about why he is smiling though.

An Overwhelming Amount of News

Sorry for such a delayed post! Prom was FANTASTIC!!! I had tons of fun, as did everyone else. We all went to Grand Bend for after prom and enjoyed a wonderful day at the beach (sober, I might add! Though not everyone at the beach was . . . ). The art show at South started Monday night at 7:30. The opening night was a big success, a TON of people came to see all the art! I took pictures of everyone with their art and I hope they enjoyed it as much as I did!

(I will post these up later since I am being denied currently)
